Oh my goodness where do I start?! This elopement was what dreams are made of. First of all, the locaaaation! Getting ready in the Banff Springs, then they said their vows on stairs from a building that had burned down but the stairs remained there, surrounded by mountains. Secondly, the dress! WHAT. Can everyone get married in sequins pls? Third of all, the backyard reception with a food truck?! Someone pinch me. And lastly– the people. Wow. Lise + Raju are the greatest couple. And her family was straight up fantastic. (Sadly I didn’t get to meet Raju’s family– I will just have to meet them in Bangladesh at their next celebration 😉 hahaha) Their vows were perfect, the floral arrangements were perfect, and their love is freakin PERFECT. 

Some highlights from their celebrations:

There was a tiny hole in the bottom of Lise’s cup so she came running over to me and was like “JAYDEN LOOK MY CUP IS PEEING AND I KNEW YOU WOULD APPRECIATE THIS SO I HAD TO SHOW YOU” hahahahaha.

Finally learning why the lakes are different colours in the mountains– thanks Raju haha.
When I asked Raju to whisper something in Lise’s ear and she started tearing up because it was so sweet. I still don’t know what he said to her, but all I know is that it gave me goosebumps and I was tearing up too! EMOTION IS MY JAM, GUYS.
