I LOVE photographing families in different spots around Calgary. I always ask my clients what vibe they’re going for that year and as much as I love sessions in the mountains, I get really excited for fun downtown urban pics! There are so many great activities to do and the city has a lot of cute spots!

This was my second time photographing the Ehmann family and I was so stoked to see them again. We started at the new downtown public Library, and on a really hot summer day like the day of our session, that AC just hits different!!!!!!!! I am obsessed with the architecture in that building and it’s so fun to shoot there.

Once the sun was lower in the sky and the city was cooling off a bit, we went to the top of a parking garage for some golden hour fun with the skyline in the background. We had fun playing, running around, and walking around the streets of downtown. They already have their next session scheduled for the end of August and I am so stoked to see them again!!
